Arkansas Supreme Court Library

The Arkansas Supreme Court Library, created pursuant to the Supreme Court Library Act of 1851, principally serves the justices and staff of the Arkansas Supreme Court, the judges and staff of the Arkansas Court of Appeals, and the various agencies located within the Justice Building.  The library is also open to the general public to whom its resources are available for on-site use.

The library is a participant in the federal depository library program for selected federal agency materials; the library also participates in the Arkansas state-agency depository program.  Public computer terminals are provided for Internet access, including selected electronic databases, e.g., WESTLAW, LexisNexis, Loislaw, HeinOnline.  Library materials (with rare exception) do not circulate outside the Justice Building.

There are no fees for use of the library or its information services.  A charge is made for photocopies.

This Library is a Congressionally designated depository for U.S. Gov documents.
